In June 2005, Avon purchased International Safety Instruments, Inc. (ISI), based in Lawrenceville, GA USA.Later in 2008, Avon Protection acquired Argus, the leading thermal imaging camera manufacturer.

Avon Protection has been supplying respirators to the UK Ministry of Defence and other NATO allies since the 1920’s and we are the primary supplier of CBRN respiratory equipment to all United States Department of Defense Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Special Operations Forces.
